What to have ready when you call

  • Your address and the best number to reach you
  • What the system is doing, and when it started
  • The type of heat: natural gas, propane, electric, boiler or heat pump
  • Any error code or blinking light pattern on the furnace control board
  • Whether anyone feels unwell or a CO alarm has sounded

If you smell gas or a CO alarm goes off

Leave the house first, without switching lights or appliances on or off. From outside, call 911 or the gas utility, then call us. Do not go back in until the responders say it is safe.
